Where I ramble and rant.Travel Reccomendations
Can I suggest a list of places in Canada to go:
1. Vancouver, BC: One of the nicest cities in Canada
2. Jasper and Banff: You can’t beat the scenery
3. Waterton Lakes: Another national park in Alberta, the defining moment would have to be just driving into the park when you see the stark contrast between priarie and mountains.
4. Newfoundland: St. Johns is great for the culture, especially signal hill. The isolated towns on the south coast are supposed to be incredible to.
5. Montreal: Great city and close to Ontario. Check out the underground shopping mall that goes on for hours.
6. Nunavut: This might not strike your fancy but some hikes their are incredible.
In Europe I would suggest the following places
Slovenia: Great small country with remarkable small towns, my all time favourite hike is here. It’s cheap and not very commercailized and I love the capital.
France: Paris is a remarkable city even if crowded by tourists. I’ve never been to mont blanc but it’s supposed to be incredible.
Austria: Incredible scenery.
Holland: Amsterdam is a very unique city. Aside from the cultural stuff holland is a bit of a yawn.
The Greek Islands: Went on a cruise when I was six, it’s an incredible place with lots of greek ruins. I would aviod athens.
In the states I can suggest the grand cayon, cape cod and the outerbanks. Zion national park is nice to. But really Canada is a great place to travel(ontario even, killarney is great), just aviod the praries.
